Captain Cathérine Durand is the Captain of the S.S. Sollipsis, the first spaceship capable of Faster-Than-Light travel, the first and most advanced of its kind.

Her mission is complex, to observe, to take humanity's first steps into a wider universe, and to be its eyes, face and voice. Along with a crew of unique, highly qualified and highly strange individuals, Captain Durand will be the first ambassador for not just her crew, but humanity itself.
